Well, it was great to see old friends and meet new peeps at Patchings last week, and I got back home on Sunday evening feeling exhausted. I intended having a few easy days before getting out to look for new material, but at Portmeirion yesterday, a delightful robin and a perky little chaffinch approached me - irresistible subjects! So I'm now back in the studio busying myself with two paintings - hmmm, I feel a series coming on.....
