Not a sprint ....

Which is just as well since - as you can see - this canvas hasn't progressed an awful lot this week. Not that I've been lazy though: a fluffy cat is nearing completion, just awaiting her whiskers, and I've been tweaking a painting of a horse too.

And this afternoon, I took some paintings, prints and cards to Wem where Dee Morgan, formerly of SPACE formerly in Ellesmere, is now preparing to open her new gallery SoulBird. It's lovely: very select (as it's a lot smaller than SPACE) and extremely stylish. As well as paintings, greeting cards, glassware, jewellery and more from local artists and designer-makers, she also has some furniture (French / shabby chic style) and Fairtrade items (which I haven't yet seen). I'll post photos and more details here very soon.
