The brighter and longer days are making me happy as it means my painting time is increased. So, over the past couple of days, I've started work on two canvases, one of a beautiful European eagle owl I met a week or so ago. When I say "met", I mean that I looked closely at her and she steadfastly ignored me. The other painting is of two Welsh mountain ponies who were far more responsive, though perhaps they just hoped I may have an apple or carrot about my person.Anyway, the photograph here is of the two canvases in their current state - a fair bit more to do on them, especially the pony painting, but it's too dark to continue now. Can't wait to get back to them!
