A breath of fresh air

Firstly, a big thank-you to all you blog-readers out there who came to Shrewsbury Open Studios and especially those who visited Ferndell to see the work by me and Roger Keeling. It was lovely to see you.

After the two busy Open Studios weekends and given the super-hot weather, the thought of an evening outdoors combining a bit of art with lovely views, followed by a refreshing beer, was just too tempting. So an arty friend and I climbed up to Dinas Bran for a spot of watercolouring. Here's my sketch. Hardly a masterpiece but it was a pleasant evening nonetheless ...
