Development time

You may have noticed that I've been a bit quiet on the blogging front over recent weeks. This has not been due to laziness but largely because I have been spending quite some time considering new approaches and methods to my art. This was prompted by the dissatisfaction I felt with my work in early summer (work which was never exhibited and has now been obliterated). I have at last made a breakthrough, focussing on graphic and textural qualities, with monoprint and linocuts still in progress.

This is the first of my new pieces - acrylic on canvas. I'm hoping more will follow soon: a badger painting is close to completion, and another canvas plus some prints are at an early stage. Fingers crossed!
