Well, it's been a disappointing week: I have had work hanging at The Nags Head, Garthmyl, for a few years now, and my last sale, late last year, was of two paintings, one of which is the one shown in this post. Despite assurances, I was not paid the £500 owed for these canvases, and last week the building was repossessed.
Gerry Wilkinson, the director of The Nags Head Hotel Limited (company no. 07606909), has so far admitted that he owes the money but refused to pay and also refused to provide a postal address for any claim. His other business, Brynafon Country House Hotel Limited, is in liquidation.
