This is a heavily textured and multi-layered painting, inspired by my
walks and sketches in the Berwyns, the Ceiriog Valley and Snowdonia.
I
used principally acrylics, oil pastels, Inktense sticks, charcoal and
pencil, and also layered, partially removed and cut into the work to
create a textured and weathered feel to the painting.

This is a textured and multi-layered painting, inspired by the landscape
around a favourite section of Offa's Dyke, close to my home on the
Shropshire / Wales border, based on sketches made in summer
2019 and memories of countless runs and walks there over many years.
I used principally acrylics, oil pastels, Inktense sticks,
charcoal and pencil, and also layered, partially removed and cut into
the work to create a textured and weathered feel to the painting. The
painting is on a deep-edge canvas, measuring 20x20x3.5 cm.

This is a heavily textured and multi-layered painting, inspired by the
hilly landscape above the Ceiriog Valley, with its network of drystone
walls and sheep fencing, and the hilltops beyond. It is based on my
sketches on a very sunny but very cold day recently.

This is a heavily textured and multi-layered painting, inspired by the
landscapes close to my home on the Shropshire / Wales border, and based
largely on sketches made in summer 2019. Many views feature a tracery of
lines: lines on tree trunks, lines of hedgerows and fences, lines of
tree branches and twigs against the land and against the sky .... This
mosaic is what I hope to have captured in this painting.
