As part of my preparation for the watercolour experience next Wednesday, I have been immersing myself in the delights of this medium, so here are three approaches to painting two aubergines, going from the controlled through a looser and then a very loose style:
This was meant to be a self-contained exercise, but I now find myself adding "aubergines" to my shopping list and planning a series .... hmmm, mixed media, linocut, still life in acrylic ....the possibilities are endless!
