Waving or drowning?

Despite the rising waters of the River Severn, I made it to life drawing yesterday evening, so here are some of the sketches I did there. I'm still using Inktense, and still struggling somewhat though I do feel I'm making progress and I do like them, so I shall persevere.

This afternoon I braved the horrendous gales and rain here and took a load of paintings, prints, drawings and greeting cards over to Caffi Wylfa, a great cafe at the Chirk end of the aqueduct. Caffi Wylfa has pristine new walls which have remained bare thus far, but are now adorned with my work - and a lovely setting it is for them too. We just got the pictures on the walls when the lights went out - except for a couple of emergency lights - so more about Caffi Wylfa and photos very soon.
