New year, new media

Life drawing started again this week, so new year, new start, new media and new model - all exciting stuff. The new model has good muscle definition and is quite the contortionist: she held some interesting poses very well for up to 20 minutes.

My new media consisted of gel pens and coloured cartridge paper. The results shown here are not exactly true as some of the gel pens are metallic and some glittery which obviously does not show up on the scans.

Anyway, it was great to get back to drawing again and today I'm continuing with the two paintings I have in progress - both nearing completion now.

More work has sold (hurray!) so I'll be out to hang new canvases very soon.
