Yesterday, I called in at SoulBird Gallery in Wem to supply more of my limited edition prints and to refresh the work I have on display there.
As usual, SoulBird was full of interesting and lovely products, but unfortunately I didn't have time to linger as I then had to rush to Shrewsbury to buy more canvases. I also bought a white marker pen which I subsequently experimented with at life drawing - a successful experiment I think: I was able to move the white around with water to create soft edges and varying degrees of light.
A few of my sketches from yesterday evening are shown here.
