My demo on Wednesday evening seemed to go down well. The subject was the cat shown here; the completed painting was on show and, using work-in-progress, I demonstrated the various stages on the way to achieving the finished product. My thanks to the Oswestry Society of Artists for inviting me and making me feel so welcome.I now have a couple of weeks with no shows or fairs so will be busy painting. The light is wonderful today, as so often in autumn, so I want to make the most of it. As usual, ideas are plentiful - I just need to commit them to canvas and paper.
Great flow to the cat, I like the looseness of it. Lovely! I would love to watch a demonstration, I find watercolour the biggest challenge!
