Will summer ever arrive?

Well, I had a very cold and wet two days in Shrewsbury on Friday and Saturday last week - it seemed more like winter than early summer. Despite the weather, though, lots of you came to my stall which cheered me up! I defrosted by Tuesday, when I took a couple of new paintings to SPACE in Ellesmere, and yesterday I took more out to The White Horse in Pulverbatch.

Shown here is a cropped version of a recent painting. Unfortunately, the colours are not quite true - go and see the original at SPACE!
My next outing is the Festival Fair in Much Wenlock on 5 June and I have plenty to fill my time until then: cows in fields to sketch, a commission, several works in progress to complete and ideas for new paintings to commit to canvas - great!
