The feeling of relief reported in my last blog post continued on Tuesday, so I faffed around in the morning and then spent a very enjoyable afternoon out in the sunshine looking for new subject matter - and found it in the form of black and white bullocks, some cheeky ponies which live wild in the grounds of Chirk Castle, and a herd of white horned cattle. I am now working on one large canvas with other painting ideas queuing up in my mind ....
Incidentally,
The Nags Head's opening yesterday evening was a hit, I am told, with 50 dinners served and two of my prints sold - great!
