I went to life-drawing again yesterday and had a wonderful time, mainly sketching in pastel pencil on black paper. The lighting conditions were great, the model chose some lovely poses and I enjoyed myself immensely.
Over the bank holiday weekend, I got out for a good long walk and discovered some horses with foals and a lot of cows, so I've got plenty of material for new work - I wish there were more hours in the day!
Back to reality this morning however: it is the Made in Shropshire Fair in the Square on Saturday so I need to prepare for that, and next week I will be at a Ladies who Lunch event at Eaton Hall, in aid of the Samaritans, so no resting on my laurels.
