At life drawing this week, I took along a couple of pigment liners and a number of brush pens filled with ink or water and used them on cartridge paper. I thoroughly enjoyed the session: the model was one of my favourites, and the flowing and tonal approach the media demanded was a real pleasure. A couple of my sketches are shown here.
(Note to self: Remember in future to check ink pens for leaks before use!) Just off to scrub my hands again .....
