Looking for light

As an artist, I struggle in the winter months because the hours of daylight are so short and what daylight there is, is often subdued. My task lighting is fitted with a daylight bulb but this is still not great. I can prepare and varnish canvases, and block in paintings when it is dark but the bulk of my work requires a good level of natural light.

Despite these tribulations, however, I have completed another canvas, shown here. There are more in the pipeline - fingers crossed the weather cooperates.
