Phew - the first Shrewsbury Open Studios weekend is over! And despite Wimbledon and the very hot weather, lots of people ventured out to Ferndell B&B over the weekend to meet Sarah, Roger and me. And those people seemed very impressed with Ferndell and all the art - and the refreshing drinks Sarah was dispensing. Roger is painting an interior: the kitchen in Ferndell, and I worked on two paintings of nudes, based on sketches from the life drawing sessions I attend.
I'm already looking forward to being there next weekend too!
