Happy New Year

... Guten Rutsch ... Bonne Année ... I've come over all international. Anyway, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are facing 2014 feeling refreshed and enthusiastic.

As proof of my artistic enthusiasm, I went off to life drawing in Shrewsbury this evening, and here are a few of my efforts.

An idea for a large-ish cat painting is starting to germinate in my imagination so I'm hoping to put brush to canvas very soon ... and of course you will be the first to see it (if it's successful, that is!).
