Today was setting-up day at the exhibition in Great Witley Church - Britain's finest baroque church, I'm told, and it certainly is quite breathtaking: ornately carved pews, pulpit and font, wonderful paintings, gilded mouldings ...And the juxtapositions with modern-day paintings, prints, quilts, jewellery, greeting cards and more besides in a wide range of styles is certainly amazing.
My photos give a flavour of this I think - but why not call in over the weekend to get the full impact of this highly original exhibition which opens with a preview at 7.30 p.m. this evening, and then runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Mondy.
