Lots of life

I had a very busy day yesterday, and that included a fantastic life-drawing session at Funky Aardvark in Chester - a new venue for me. It was a special event as it lasted four hours, with the model holding two poses, each of two hours. Well done, that model - she could really hold a pose! This provided me with the opportunity to try out life painting in watercolur - and I really enjoyed it. Now that I have experimented, I'm thinking I could manage a bit of watercolour in the shorter poses at the regular life-drawing sessions I go to at The Hive in Shrewsbury.

Shown here are the seven watercolours I managed in the four hours. I don't know whether it looks much to you, but I was exhausted by the end of it!
